Terms of sale
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms apply when you buy Camerture on camerture.com. Please read them before you pay: by completing a purchase, you agree to them. You can save or print this page.
Who sells Camerture
Camerture is sold by A.C.R. van Hooff, a self-employed professional (autónomo) in Spain, NIF Z3009099Z, Partida Almoroig, 13, 03830 Muro de Alcoy, Spain. You can reach us at [email protected]. In these terms, "we" means the seller and "you" means the buyer.
What you buy
Camerture is an app for Mac that adjusts the image of your camera. It needs macOS 14 Sonoma or later and works with the built-in camera of MacBooks and iMacs, Apple Studio Display, Continuity Camera with an iPhone and most USB webcams. The website describes its features.
You buy a licence to use Camerture. There are three plans:
- Personal: a licence for one person, on up to 2 of their own Macs.
- Team: licences for 5 people.
- Business: licences for 5 to 1,000 people.
With Team and Business, every person gets their own licence key. The buyer hands the keys out in their account and can move a key to someone else at any time. Taking a key back from someone ends that person's licence.
Prices and payment
Every purchase is a one-time payment; there's no subscription. The total at checkout is what you pay. For consumers it includes VAT. Businesses that buy with a valid EU VAT number from outside Spain, and businesses outside the EU, pay the price without Spanish VAT; the checkout shows this before you pay.
Buyers in Europe pay in euros, everyone else in US dollars. Your bank may charge for converting currencies.
Payments are processed by Mollie B.V. in the Netherlands, with the payment methods shown at checkout. You get an invoice, which you can download from the order confirmation, the licence email and your account.
How you buy
At checkout you enter your email address and country, and your company details if you're buying for a company. You see the total and can correct your details until you pay. The contract is concluded when your payment succeeds. Your order is stored in your account, where you can always find your licence key, downloads and invoices. The contract can be concluded in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Dutch or Japanese.
Delivery
Your licence key appears on screen right after payment and is emailed to you, with a link to download Camerture. Team and Business buyers then hand out their keys in their account.
Refunds
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days, without giving a reason, and get a full refund. This applies to everyone, including businesses, and you keep this right even though your licence is delivered straight away. Refunds explains how it works.
Your licence
Once you've paid, we give you a permanent, non-exclusive licence to use Camerture as your plan allows. You may not:
- share your licence key or publish it, or let more than one person use a Personal licence;
- sell, rent or pass on licence keys, apart from handing out and moving Team and Business keys in your account;
- copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it;
- use Camerture to break the law or other people's rights.
If you break these rules, we can end your licence. A licence also ends when you get a refund for it.
Updates
Your licence includes every update of Camerture at no extra cost, delivered automatically in the app for as long as your licence is active. New versions may need a newer version of macOS.
We may offer a separate, more advanced product in the future, such as a Pro version, at its own price. It isn't part of your licence, though we may give existing customers a discount.
Your licence doesn't expire. Every licence key works on up to 2 Macs at a time: activating it on another Mac moves it there from the Mac used least recently, a few times a month, and you can remove a Mac in your account. Camerture checks your licence with our servers about once a day and keeps working for 7 days without an internet connection. If we ever stop selling Camerture, we'll first release a version that works without our servers, so the version you have keeps working as long as macOS supports it.
Support
Email [email protected] with questions or problems. We usually reply within a few working days.
Guarantee and liability
If you're a consumer, the legal guarantee for digital content applies: Camerture must work as described. If it doesn't, tell us and we'll fix it; if we can't, you can get a price reduction or your money back.
We work hard to keep Camerture working with Mac cameras and video apps, but we can't promise that it works with every camera, app or future version of macOS.
We're fully liable for damage we cause intentionally or through gross negligence, and for death or personal injury. Otherwise, as far as the law allows, our liability is limited to the price you paid, and businesses can't claim indirect damage or lost profits from us. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms for future purchases. Your purchase stays under the terms that applied when you bought it.
Law and complaints
Spanish law applies. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and you can take a dispute to the courts there.
If you have a complaint, email us first and we'll try to solve it. We don't take part in consumer arbitration or other alternative dispute resolution, but you can contact the consumer authority where you live. Consumers in Spain can ask us for an official complaint form (hoja de reclamaciones).
